 As promised in my previous posts here i'm back with  the swatches of the highlighters i have and their short reviews..

HERE IS MY VALUED COLLECTION:

I would love to classify as LIQUID CREAMY & POWDER ones..

Liquid highlighters:

I have colorbar's highlighter pen and revlon's age defying spa illuminator..
I also have revlons skin lights but forgot to include  it..
1.colorbar's highlighter pen:

colour: champagne gold
staying power: 3-4 hours max
look: beautiful shimmer apt for indian skin tones( no glitter;))))
price: 450 INR
overall rating:.7/10( short stay, clicking sucks )

2.revlon's age defying spa illuminator


colour:  pinky champagne gold
staying power: 4-6 hours
look:  beautiful shine with mild shimmer and no glitter
price: 800INR
overall rating:8/10

3.revlons skin lights:

similar to spa illuminator with lesser price and more fluidy and lesser shine

Cream highlighters:

                                          ( SWATCHES: without flash in the order of review)
Use this especially when longing for a dewy look;)

ULTRA FLESH SHINE  BOX( Shades anytime, anywhere.secret shimmer and nude shimmer)

anytime: beautiful champagne pink cream highlighter that stays for more than 6 hours..shimmers are so microscopic that  only shine is seen..so beautiful yo see..

anywhere: pale gold..looks breathtakingly beautiful as highlighter or neutral gold eye shadow with gold shimmers

secret shimmer and nude shimmer: both are in pencil form to be used along tear ducts or eyeliners..secret shimmer is silvery nd nude one is champagne, both extremely pigmented but too tiny

overall rating of ULTRA FLESH SHINE  BOX: 9/10( only mark minused for its price of 39$..but however i got it for 450 INR..to know how, click here)

Powder highlighters

totally sucks..glitter, disco ball but cheapest of all
rate it -1/10

colour: pale gold, tiny glitter
staying power: 2-3 hours
look: tiny glitters and shimmers
price: 375 INR
overall rating: 5/10( DIFFICULT TO USE, SPILLS ALL OVER, GLITTER AND NOT SHIMMER BUT STILLL PASSES AS LOOKS GOOD ON USING MILDLY)

3.TIPS AND TOES DUAL BLUSH AUTUMN:


colour: pink frost
staying power: 4 hours
look: frost
price: 300INR
overall rating: as a highlighter 5/10 but the duo is so good that the blush gets 10/10

4.Lakme face sheer in sun kissed:


colour: golden coppery pink
staying power: 4 hours
look: beautiful shimmer suits dusky skin tones to the t
price: 400 INR
overall rating: 6.5/10( i just donno what to do with the puff, i guess it was thought to be used as a blush but it fails in that department totally)

5. Lakme Absolute Moon-Lit highlighter:

colour:  creamy white and brown gold shimmers

staying power: 3-4 hours

look: creamy white for fairer and gold for dusky but the combination of both would look awesome on any skin tone..fine shimmers and no glitters

price: 600INR

overall rating: 7.5/10

(swatches: white, gold and the combination of white and gold and the ultra flesh anywhere respectively)

7.ULTRA FLESH shine box: anywhere

colour: beautiful shimmery champagne pink and gold

staying power: 6 hours

look: offers a beautiful shine and is extremely pigmented

price: 39$

overall rating:8.5/10( marks minused only for the price but i'll give it 11/10 of bought for discount)

I got this from strawberrynet in their 75% off sale with an additional 10% discount and it actually came to just 480INR despite its original price being 39$..*all smiles*
And the best part is that i received it in 9 days;)))

its a 5 in one piece with all 5 to be used for highlighting..

TEST AND A SLEEPY EOTD post!!

Yeah..yeah..
I know I have been missing for more than a month and guess what, i had been to my mother's place where i did nothing but gorge on food and sleep..
am extremely sorry guys..
I should try to be more energetic in the future*grumpy*
just was trying my newly bought faces long lasting eyeliner pencil in aqua blue and thought will show yopu guys..
PS: I WILL LOOK SCARY.. this is my unwashed face after 2 hours of nap, with no make up on except the liner...dreamt of the pencil and tried it on;(

Ignoring my sleepy eyes, the colour looks awesome na..this becomes my most favourite faces eyeliner easily replacing the turquoise  blue one;)

MATTE AND PEARL EYESHADOWS FROM COLORESSENCE!!

i HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A LOVER OF GOLD EYESHADOWS..And when i saw these singles on stylecraze for 170 INR, i just couldn't resist but buy..Tangerine and matte being the season's love, I also wanted to try that peachy orange colour from their matte range..I just got them today and am already loving them..Just sharing the pics and swatches with you..Will review them shortly..Until then, stay tuned girlies!!!

MAYBELLINE LIQUID MOUSSE FOUNDATION FOR SALE OR FOR SWAPPING!!

On seeing the rave rave reviews o maybelline liquid mousse foundation, what a shopaholic like me is supposed to do when its not available in the forest she lives?
ORDER online..OFCOURSE..EXCEPT THAT THE POOR LITTLE LADY WAS DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WRONG SHADE SHE CHOSE FROM THE SWATCHES ONLINE!!

got it for 575INRs from online shopping site in the shade medium 2 pure beige which is lighter for my NC 43 skin tone..;((
Ofcourse the foundation is awesome but just doesn't suit my skin..
Am ready to sell it for 475 INR with free shipping..the foundation comes with a pump and only one pump has been used by which i found, I got the wrong shade..

GET LUSCIOUS LIPS:COLORBAR SOFT TOUCH LIPSTICK e-rose REVIEW AND LIP SWATCH!

Confession time:

Since, i was born with xx in my chromosome, window shopping had always been my favorite pass time which eventually turns into 'gateway shopping', if you know what I mean..

And this is how i exactly saw this beauty in the colorbar counter..

I'm essentially a crazy lover of pink lippies and have a whole lot of them but unfortunately, not every pink lipstick compliments my skin tone, be it NYX tea rose or mMac Fanfare

Since i was not really in a mood for buying. i was just trying to swatch every possible lipstick in every cosmetic counter of Pantaloons...

My thoughts on the lipstick:

colorbar soft touch lipstick in e-rose is a beautiful creamy pink with slight purple undertones and microscopic golden glitters and it would definitely complement every single skintone possible on earth..I bet yeah..

Also, they claim to be rich in Vit A,E, Apricot oil and also claim to have anti ageing properties..The creamiest lipstick i had ever used in a drugstore brand would be maybelline's colorsensational lipstick but this is DEFINITELY MORE CREAMIER...Also, it has a lovely fragrance which i was not able to identify and it was very mild indeed..

Pros:

• lovely colour and 29 more shades to choose from!
• Stays for a decent 4 hours (better than my maybelline colorsensational range)
• Definitely very creamy and highly moisturizing which is more apt for winters
• would suit most skin tones
• Easy availability..
• The micro golden glits gives an illusion of (may be i feel)fuller lips
• Good pigmentation
• Classy packaging

Cons:

The staying power could be worked on

Overall verdict:8/10

Would i buy it again: Definitely in other shades

Recommendation: i would definitely say that for the price, these are the best creamy lipsticks available in the market with decent staying power and would look good on almost all complexions..

I just wanted to do a review on this beauty i recently got coz its such a lovely colour and would just add spark to your outfit without looking too made up;)
As we all know, colorbar's i glide range is quite a hit among every girl who has used it and this new addition to their collection is no less..
PRICE: 350 INR
Hats off to colorbar to introduce such a lovely rare colour in its variety and be happy girls, its an Indian brand too!

The colour looks like amethyst..the exact same colour but its much more beautiful since it has tiny tiny purple glitters or shimmer which just looks awesome!
take a look at the swatch, even though it looks much better in reality..

Overall verdict: Such a fun colour with purple tiny shimmers of purple which will just attract you in any lighting or weather and the best part is , its water proof and even rubbing DONOT DISPLACE THE SHIMMERS!
So, go grab this beauty and ad this lovely gem to your collection and you'll definitely not regret!

lakme eye shadow quartet in peacock review!

i fell in love with this quartet , the very moment i heard the name: peacock!
it has the same colours as in a peacock feather..paecock blue, shimmery green, burgundy and a bronzy gold shadow..and they give a pearly finish.
i personally love them as eyeliners, esp the blue and green..
YEP..I MIX IT WITH LIP GLOSS AND APPLY AS EYE LINERS WITH EYELINER BRUSH AND BELIEVE ME, IT JUST LOOKS AWESOME..
just see how it has all the colors of a peacock feather..love love love;)

pros: 
1. colors are awesome, bright and lovely!

cons:
1.it falls off a bit
2.cannot b used as eyeshadows on formal occasions but sure can be used as eye liners;)
3.incomplete, i mean u cannot achieve one look within the quartet.
4.the brush is too short.hmph..


Its certainly buyable if u r into bright colours and bright eye make up and its a must if u wear kancheevaram sarees a lot as a lot of kancheevaram sarees has these shades!!
i wud rate it 7/10
